TTRA Welcomes Newly-Elected Directors October 2010
Membership in the Terwillegar Towne Residents Association expanded rapidly in 2010, and continues to grow as the last few lots are sold and new houses near completion. Your volunteer Board has been working on several plans and projects over the past year, and these continue to gather momentum as more and more residents become invested in the issues impacting our community.
Following a lively and well-attended AGM on September 29th, the Board is very pleased to be moving forward with a full slate of Directors for the 2010/2011 term. Please join us in thanking our neighbours who served on the Board for the past term, and welcoming those who stepped up to serve for the coming year.
Many thanks to out-going Directors Lori McCurdy, Celia Freitas and Andrew Tarnowski for their positive and energetic participation on both the Board and sub-committees.
A warm welcome to our five new Directors, who are already well into the swing of things!

As a Certified Yoga Teacher for the past four years, Michelle shares the pleasure she finds in an active lifestyle. In addition to volunteering in the community, she enjoys reading finance and personal development books in her spare time, and watching movies. Now kept occupied as an active real estate agent, trainer, mentor, and elder-care giver, Klaus looks forward to serving the TTRA and its members in whatever capacity he can.
Lily Jian - With four children and a demanding schedule, Lily is no stranger to balancing responsibility and organization. Lily comes from an accounting background, and although this is her first time serving on a Board, she has been an active member in previous communities. As a new Director, she looks forward to exploring new insights and ideas, and her wish is to see our community continue to grow and blossom.
Mureen Platt - Mureen discovered Terwillegar Towne three years ago, while she was traversing the city as a volunteer driver for the Canadian Cancer Society.
